ENORA — Return to yourself
Who we are
ENORA is operated by Aida Carina Cardoso Idrissa (Founder of ENORA), who is the legal seller of ENORA products and the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at help@enorareturntoyourself.net.
What we collect
- Account data: email address, name (optional), profile photo (optional).
- Practice content: your calibration answers, reflections, journal entries and intentions stay on your device; we do not store them on our servers. Only the single session being reflected on is sent, transiently, for AI processing.
- Purchase data: which products you own and when access expires.
- Technical data: device and log information needed for security and stability.
- Reminder data: if you enable gentle reminders, we store your device notification subscription, your timezone, language and chosen reminder times so reminders can be delivered. You can switch reminders off at any time, which deletes this record.
- Reports about written reflections: if you report a reflection, we store the reason, your optional note and the reflection text so we can review it.
Why we use it
To create and secure your account, to deliver the daily practice and Collections across your devices, to generate written reflections, to provide support, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in a safe and improving service, your consent where asked, and legal obligation.
Who we share it with
- Hosting, database and authentication providers who run the platform for us.
- Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for purchases made on the web, which handles payment, billing, tax and invoicing; and Google, the seller of purchases made in the Android app through Google Play Billing.
- AI processing providers used to generate written reflections.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data.
Where your writing lives
Journal photographs, journal entries, calibration answers and the written reflections composed for you are stored on the device you use, not on our servers. What we hold in your account is your profile (name, optional photo), your preferences and reminder settings, your entitlements and purchase records. This means your writing does not follow you automatically between devices, and it also means we cannot read it.
Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, preferences, entitlements, purchase records, profile photo and account identity are permanently removed. Records we must keep for tax or legal reasons are retained for the required period.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account yourself in Profile. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also complain to your supervisory authority. Write to help@enorareturntoyourself.net and we will respond within one month.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and row-level database rules so that only you and the services acting for you can reach your data.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
Written reflections and AI
ENORA composes short written reflections from the answers you give in the practice. To do this, your answers for that single session — and your first name if you gave one — are sent to our AI processing provider through the Lovable AI Gateway (model: Google Gemini). Notes you write inside a Collection day are part of that session and are included. Your separate Journal entries, journal photographs, email address, account identifier and purchase history are never included in that request. The exchange is transient: it is not stored by the provider for training and is not used to build a profile of you. You can report any reflection that feels wrong from inside the app; the report and the reflection text are stored so we can review them, and no one else ever sees it.
Payments, Google Play Billing and access
How you pay depends on where you installed ENORA. In the Android app distributed on Google Play, digital products are sold through Google Play Billing: Google is the seller and processes your payment, and we receive only a purchase token, the product identifier and the purchase state, which we verify with Google to grant your 60-day access. On the web, purchases are processed by Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for those orders. We never see or store your card details. We store which product you bought, when, the order reference and when access expires.
Reminders and notifications
Gentle reminders are optional. If you turn them on and allow notifications, we store the notification subscription your browser or device issues, plus your timezone, language and chosen times, so the reminder can be sent at the right hour. Turning reminders off deletes that record. Notification content contains only a short invitation to practise — never your writing.
Wellbeing, not medical care
ENORA is a personal wellbeing and reflection practice. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or manage any medical or psychological condition, it makes no clinical claims, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Your practice answers are personal reflections, not clinical records, and we do not use them to infer a health condition. If you are struggling, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency service.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile inside the app, or from enorareturntoyourself.net/delete-account in any browser, without installing anything. Deletion removes your sign-in identity, profile, profile photo, preferences, reminder subscriptions, reflection reports, entitlements and purchase records from our systems, and clears ENORA data held on the device you use to confirm. Journal photographs are stored on your own device and are cleared with it. We cannot delete the transaction records that Google Play, Paddle or Lemon Squeezy keep as sellers, nor the invoice data tax law requires us to retain.
Contact and support
Write to help@enorareturntoyourself.net for any question about your data, a privacy request, or help with deletion. We answer within one month.
